At Yocova, we’re always looking to improve the platform and enhance our Members’ experience. That’s why we’ve made further updates, which we are rolling out in this latest stage of the roadmap. This time we’ve changed the ways you can use the Groups and Events functions. Read on to find out more.
Improvements to Yocova Groups
We’ve enhanced the platform to make it easier to grant access to groups from both within and outside of an organisation. This enables our Members to collaborate more easily and for partners and enterprises to better connect with customers and prospects.
For Enterprises and Partnerships, there are now three types of groups you can set up on the platform.
- Groups for Yocova Members that are part of your organisation
- Groups for your organisation and guests (other Members or organisations)
- Groups for an organisation and other selected organisations
This provides more flexibility to connect with others on the platform, both from within and outside of your own organisation.
Accessing Yocova Groups
We’ve also made changes to the look and feel of the Groups pages to make them more intuitive. And you can now access Groups by both the Explore and Workspace buttons. To access Groups via Explore, select the option on the left hand side. If you’re accessing Groups through Workspace, there is a single click option directly from that section.
Both routes provide a simplified view of group activities on the platform. We’ve removed some of the sort options, and you can now more easily search for groups, apply filters or create new groups. There aren’t any significant changes when you actually click into a group, so this won’t feel any different.
You’ll need to be a Member of a Yocova Enterprise and have group admin permissions within your organisation to be able to create a new Enterprise group.
Changes to the Events sections
We’ve also tidied up the events section and removed some of the lesser used features. In the Events Wizard section you can still personalise your event to show event date and time, speaker details etc, but we’ve also added some tools to enable you to add banners and graphics to personalise your event.
A further new feature for Events is that it is now possible to set up different tickets for different events. It’s all very straightforward to use in the Events Wizard section.
We’re still in the process of optimising the Events section of the platform, so stay tuned for further updates. Events are only available to attend by Yocova members, so if you see an event one of your peers might be interested in, why not encourage them to sign up today?
