Read on to find out more about the headline improvements and how will benefit you as a Yocova member.

Improvements to the ways you can manage events on Yocova

After receiving feedback from our users, we’ve integrated new technology to improve the way our users can manage their events. With the updates we’ve made, event admins will have better control over the events they manage, with better ways to communicate with attendees and invitees through the inclusion of Event Registration Forms.

The benefits of Event Registration Forms

Event Registration Forms will now give our Event Admins (those with permission granted to create, edit and manage events) greater control and the ability to integrate and report on a wider range of information.

There are three stages that can now benefit from the Event Registration Forms:

  • Pre-registration – for required questions
  • Post-registration – for optional questions
  • Post-event – for example, for attendee feedback

For example, at the invitation or pre-registration stage, it is now possible to see who is interested in the event (has clicked on the event) but has not yet registered. At the next stage, while it is also possible to see who has registered for an event, there’s now the option to include a registration form to find out more from the attendee – this may be, for example, their reason for attending, how they heard about the event, or any special dietary requirements they may have. Post registration, Yocova now provides the ability to communicate with attendees. Perhaps you want to present the opportunity for questions to be raised or follow up directly with attendees. And now, post-event, the platform also provides the functionality to communicate with those who attended and perhaps request a survey or feedback response, by way of sending an email via the platform.

How Event Registration Forms work

At whichever stage you want to incorporate Event Registration Forms, it’s easy to now do on the Yocova platform. Just click on the event you are administering and select Registration Form. There’s a range of options and criteria you can work with including mandatory and optional fields. And you also have the option to clone, edit and delete. The whole process is intuitive and simple.

Attracting multiple attendees and people from outside of the platform

With the new functionality around events, there’s now the option for Yocova members to sign up multiple attendees to events, or even interact with and attract individuals who might not yet be signed up to the platform. Whichever it is, this is a useful new tool to help you extend your reach to attendees you wish to attend your event. Just one thing for Admins to note, though. If you enable the event to be registered for by just one individual, then only Yocova members will be able to sign-up. However, if the maximum number of attendees permitted is more than one, then interested parties who are not yet signed up to the platform will be able to register, provided that the person registering them for the event is a Yocova member.

Prioritising information with filters

As an Event Admin, we’ve made it easier for you to manage the information available to you about attendees to your event by introducing filtering. This means that when you click on an event, you can now see a list of who is interested, who has viewed the event but not yet registered, and who is already registered.

An easier way to contact attendees with in-platform email functionality

As an Event Admin, you may wish to email attendees to your event at whichever status they may be – registered, unregistered or having already attended an event. The process is far simpler than before. Now, having applied filters to the list of attendees if required, you can select to email the individuals within the list. Alternatively, if you wish to email a specific individual then this is also possible. By simply selecting the dropdown menu to the right of the individual’s profile you can select to email them, and this will open up an email message for you to edit within the platform.

Other updates – Changes to the ‘Cart’ feature

We continually make updates to the platform to enhance functionality, respond to feedback from members and improve user experience.

Following extensive feedback from our members, we’ve updated the ‘Cart’ feature to ensure that only users with the authorisation to purchase solutions or plans have this feature on their profile.
