The University of Southampton’s uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) team, Soton UAV has recently joined Yocova as an Enterprise Member. The research team, consisting of academics, staff, postgraduate researchers has taken the decision to join the platform as an Enterprise Member.
As an Enterprise Member, Soton UAV is able to immediately build a Yocova profile to position the team within the global Yocova Community. The team can integrate Yocova into their marcomms and marketing strategy and connect, collaborate and innovate with the wider aviation community. Yocova enables Enterprise Members to access exclusive news, insights, collaboration groups, data rooms and the Yocova Marketplace to view/trial/procure digital aviation solutions.

Soton UAV is a team of academics, postgraduate researchers and undergraduate students based at the University of Southampton. From a research perspective, Soton UAV designs, develops and flies uncrewed aerial vehicles. Many of Soton UAV’s systems use cutting-edge design methods, novel applications of technology and leading-edge manufacturing techniques. The Soton UAV team typically fly their designs within the UK, but have tested some further afield in more challenging locations such as the ice fields of Antarctica and the active volcanoes of Guatemala.
