The next stage of the Yocova Roadmap (Release 31) – A better way to manage events and communicate with attendees

The next phase of enhancements to the Yocova platform is now live. While we’ve made a number of small tweaks to provide a better user experience, the most recent key updates make it easier to manage events and communicate with confirmed and prospective attendees.

Easily manage event invitations and attendance

For an event you’re hosting, under the Events section you can now begin to create an invitation by simply clicking ‘Add Ticket’. These can be extended to the individuals you wish to invite, or restricted to just one company. In this section, you can drag and drop the names of individuals or enterprises you wish to invite and a notification will be sent to the recipient company’s administrator for approval. As an event organiser, you can see all the people who are registered for your event, and the email function within this section makes it easier for you to contact them.

Introducing email templates for events

In the Events section of the platform you can now create email templates with a drag and drop template builder. Event-related email templates are ideal for inviting attendees, confirming registration, to thank people for attending, or to notify people of changes. These can also be reused for other events in future. This saves time and is also useful if you wish to communicate in a consistent way on an ongoing basis. With the drag and drop function, you can add videos, images, dividers, icons and text.

Use the filter to manage what you send and who you contact

 Within the ‘Manage’ section of Events, you can choose a template and filter, select and send emails to the people on your list of contacts. You can also view the status of individuals, such as whether they have registered for your event, cancelled or declined, or whether they are on a waiting list you have built.

The ‘Assign Automatic Emails’ section also lets you send relevant emails automatically to individuals based on their status, for example to confirm registration.

A quick point to note is that the ‘Manage Events’ tool is only available to users who have been granted the administration permissions by their organisations to do so.
