As we continually strive to provide the best user experience for the Yocova community, we make regular enhancements to the platform. We’ve listened to feedback from our members and we’re excited to let you know about the latest changes we have made in Release 44.
What’s new?
We’ve made signing up and signing in a much shorter and easier process and we’ve added another option for authentication. Read on to find out more about these steps.
A shorter registration process
We have made it very easy to get started on Yocova. When you register with us, the first step will be to read and accept or reject our terms and conditions. If you accept, we’ll then ask you for the following basic information to set up your account:
- First name
- Last name
- Job title/position
- Company
- Department
- Primary location (country)
Once you’ve completed this, click Create and you’ll then be taken to the next stage, which is multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA)
We use MFA on Yocova to ensure the highest standards of security on the platform. It’s a simple process that provides an extra layer of protection for users, businesses, and data. What it means is that you’ll need to have a method of verifying your login, in addition to your password.
You have two choices for MFA – using an authenticator application on your smartphone or tablet or using your email address and account. Note that once you have chosen your authentication method, you will only be able to change it by contacting support@yocova.com. Here’s more about the two methods to help you decide.
Authenticator app
If you choose to use the app, then select that option. You’ll then be prompted to download the Salesforce App from Google or Apple stores onto your mobile phone or tablet. This app is similar to other authentication apps, but if you’re not familiar with them, please read on.
Open the app and tap the large button. It will then give you a two-word phrase, which you should enter into Yocova as prompted. You only need to do this once. In future, every time you want to log in to Yocova, you will simply get an alert from the app on your device asking you to approve the log in. So, if you choose this option, remember that you’ll need the device handy every time you want to log in to Yocova.
Authenticating by email
The other option is to choose to authenticate by email. This is one of the key changes rolled out in Release 44. With this, you can simply enter your email address and Yocova will send a code to that address. All you need to do then is input the code into Yocova and you’re in.

Build your Yocova profile
Adding more information to your profile will help you collaborate and connect even more with the Yocova community, so make sure to take the time to build and maintain yours. When you next log in to Yocova simply go to the ‘Me’ option (located on the top navigation bar) and drop down to ‘View profile’, where you can edit and add details about your role in aviation, your goals and your interests.
