What is Yocova?

Our vision is to transform aviation by creating an open and neutral platform, where information and ideas can be securely shared, to improve outcomes for the whole industry.

That’s why Yocova is an end-to-end platform for innovation: digital infrastructure and services to facilitate the exchange of ideas, data, and apps.

The Yocova platform consists of three areas:

Community: where aviation professionals can connect to share ideas and insight
Data collaboration: a decentralised, secure, and voluntary data exchange
Marketplace: an open marketplace for buyers and sellers where aviation-specific APIs and software can be trialled and procured

We encourage and stimulate activity through our innovation challenges by exchanging data and insight, developing APIs, and creating proof of concepts for new software solutions.

Who is behind Yocova?

Yocova was founded by R² Data Labs, the pioneering data innovation organisation of Rolls-Royce, who deliver disruptive business models with deep domain expertise.

Yocova is a compound word formed from the following formula:

We wanted to create a unique, distinctive and memorable moniker for the platform, that reflected our proposition and espouse the behaviours we believe will help us achieve our vision:

We introduced some distinctive illustrations to convey the interesting, vibrant and complex landscape of the aviation industry.

They depict airlines, airports, ANSPs and MROs coming together to solve the industry problems through collaboration.
